I want those stars too but according to Forrest's reflection they weren't even an issue, not hard at all!!! I think pbworks might be more up my alley! As for the name change I think the "Wiki Resource Wizards" has it with two votes. :-) Jennifer I am absolute flabbergasted that I did not think about the Word circumvention!! I wonder if graphics would've transferred. I truly am coveting the stars on group 3's wiki. I know we tried. My geek/hero couldn't even help! grrrrrrrrr! Now that we are figuring all of these things out, our wiki is complete--for the grade, that is. I emailed everyone about continuing on with this, continuing collecting, reviewing, etc. We can be a force to behold! In 25 days we can change the website address if we come to a consensus on a name.
Hey everyone! I added a site to Life in the Classroom and Technology Speaking. I think they are both great sites. I hope everyone is okay with these. I don't know anything about foreign languages, so I didn't even try to go there. You guys did a great job; sorry I couldn't contribute more. Roxanne
No kidding! I finally got the foreign language page looking half decent and feel inordinately proud (inordinately because it still doesn't look that professional but at least looks high school level). Jennifer
Jenn - That is exactly what I did last night to get the English page all one color. I guess I should have shared, but by the time I got done with everything, I was tired. I wish the fonts and colors had been easier to navigate within the application itself. Question, -what is the difference supposed to be between "purpose" and "utility?" Hey group, I like what you've done with the home page. I think that the biggest problems that we have had with font, color and uniformity can be circumvented by making a word document and copying and pasting it into the page. Getting all but the colors right before hand is the trick. ...I know...NOW she tells us. sorry! :) Jenn

I was able to get rid of the table. I want to apologize to all that it took me so long to get the hang of this. To me, this was a little difficult, but I think I have it now. I did add another link on our English page. Please feel free to add anything to the description. I was having trouble coming up with words. I might need a nap too after the basketball game. Let me know if anyone wants me to work on anything else. Now that I have the hang of it, I am kind of enjoying playing with it. :-) ~Trina

Good Morning Group! I was working on my reflection this morning and saw that someone mentioned that our resources on the front page were confusing, so I took them off. I'm pretty sure that we were going to remove them anyway...if not revert back! Oh, and I can't seem to get the chart off of the home page underneath my name. Can someone try and fix that? Thanks! Hey. The fonts are driving me crazy!! Just thought I'd share. One color per page is good with me, it makes it less busy, and confusing. However, I am speaking for the English page. I kind of liked the red color, and tried to turn my black entry red, and it would not allow me to. I like the red. I can't make it red. Can anyone help? Debb

If not, I will put in my 2 cents, but I would feel better if someone in that area could look at it. If you are willing, can you post a quick message on the open discussion page? Thanks!

Just fixed my resources and added the utility and ratings! I think our page looks great! I am definitely in favor of different colors, but I agree with Susan, maybe we could stick with one color for each page? Just a thought! Good Job group! I have added two resource sites and am looking at all our pages. A couple of the resources do not have their Ratings or Utility lines filled in. Having some trouble getting my text to cooperate with me when I edit!! Arrrgh! Can we all take a look at each page and see how it looks overall? Would it make it easier to read if we used a unified font/size/color/bold for the text, or do we want to let each contributor be creative?

Team...My criteria that I wrote for our rating system was written in a hurry (someone reviewed us and we didn't come out so well) so if "ease, versatility and fun" could be improved on please do. I saw your comments Debb but then I lost them when I saved my changes! Drat the wiki fairies messing around! yes ... Your suggestion is good. It's right on. Wiki pages seem to have some wierd little quirks!!!
